Maryland Wedding Guide
Maryland holds the key to much of American history where Civil War Battlefields and points of the Underground Railroad were embedded into its majestic and varied architecture. If you're undecided about what type of building you want to have your wedding at, you can choose from a lot of different styles including Georgian, Victoria, Colonial, Coast Cottage and many others. The food is amazing and the most famous of which being from Chesapeake where their specialties include mouthwatering seafood like crab, lobster, oysters, and the many dishes you can expect to create from their award winning selection. You can also find great Italian food in Little Italy if seafood isn't your thing.
There are plenty of getaways in Maryland including Assateague Island, Chesapeake Bay, the beaches of Ocean City, Annapolis, Tilghman Island, Smith Island, and many others. Some must-see areas would be Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary which many consider to be a masterpiece and is one of the first cathedrals in the United States. While their winters are snowy, their location off of the coastal weather patterns keep the weather from being brutal. On the flip side, their summers never get too hot either with temperatures typically capping out around the upper 80's as their high.
